The Flame came alive on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays when Mel Wynn & the Rhythm Aces performed.  The greatest fans in the world showed up repeatedly to listen to the unique sound of the band.

Pictured left to right are: Mel Wynn (vocals), Jerry Sechleer (lead guitar), Ron Ashton (Sax & vocals), Tommy Wynder (drums), Rick Bauchman (vocals & keyboard), and Larry Sechleer (vocals & bass guitar)  This is Mel Wynn & The Trend, early 70's. This picture was listed in the magazine "Riding High"  along with sheet music to "That's When The World Really Began" written by Mel and published by Chappell & Co. Inc. NY

Pictured from left to right are: Larry Sechleer (vocals & bass guitar(, Bob O'Connell (keyboard), Ron Ashton (vocals & Sax), Jerry Sechleer (lead guitar & vocals), Mel Wynn (lead vocalist), Tommy Wynder (drums), and Rich Garinger (trumpet).  Mel Wynn & the Rhythm Aces are back together again in the early 90's for a reunion at the Ramada Inn in Wilkes Barre PA.   There was standing room only.
